Week five
Due to the odd deadline, I accepted all valid picks received by 7am ET on Sunday, so all picks have been entered.
I’m out for the day, so the script hopefully will auto-assign any missing picks and flip them at 11:30am ET. I had some scheduling issues last week, but I think I took care of it.
[edit] There is apparently a bug in Bill’s script that does the auto-assigning that he’ll have to fix when he gets the chance. There were about five players that got assigned the Vikings that already used them. They should have been assigned the Cowboys instead (next team on linesmaker’s list). I’ve fixed those picks manually.

Week four recap / Final reminder about week five deadline
Well, not much to say here… Everyone made it through okay.
I gotta say… FiOS had a “freeview” of the Red Zone channel on Sunday. I’m not sure if it was just for Verizon or all cable providers, but that is one spiffy channel. My team had a bye this week so with eight early games, I watched the red zone channel as they just bounced from one game to another for three hours, catching up on all of the significant action.
Granted after a while, some of the peek-ins on the blowout games didn’t matter anymore, but it was cool keeping up with what was happening in Foxboro and Cleveland. Even my wife who initially said it was annoying and she’d prefer watching one game from start to finish had bought into the idea by the end of the early games.
So no worries about any buybacks this week, which is probably a good thing since any snail mail buybacks would have had to be here by Friday.
The pool currently stands at around $5k. I’ll have the final number after any week five buybacks.
FINAL REMINDER: This week’s deadline is Saturday at 9pm ET. That will be the last time I will be able to check my email for picks. If it’s not in by then, you’ll get auto-assigned at 11:30 Sunday morning.

Week four
It’s past 10am and I’ve received all but four. At the top of the linesmakers odds list is Houston and Tennessee.
I was a bit surprised how many people picked the 49ers this week, despite Frank Gore not playing. Granted it’s the Rams, but without their primary offensive weapon, I think it’s gonna be a much closer game.
Just another reminder, but next week’s deadline is EARLIER than before. All picks are due by Saturday evening at 9pm ET. All buybacks via Paypal must be received by Saturday at 9pm ET. All buybacks via snail mail must be received in FRIDAY’s mail.

Week three recap
Sorry, a bit late this week.
Besides, it was a fairly uneventful week. No big surprises. The Redskins sucked so much, they let the Lions win their first game in, like, forever. The Steelers apparently suck too, bigger closer problems than the Phillies (congrats to them, btw), and can’t seem to overcome the loss of Polamalu.
All picks this week are due by Sunday at 10am ET. For those of you that can’t seem to follow directions, here is again how to submit your picks.
Just a reminder, NEXT WEEK (week 5), all picks will be due by Saturday night at 9pm ET.
