Week seventeen II
Well, now it’s reallllly interesting.
With one game to go, it’s either going to be 13 players left ($403 per) or 10 players left ($524) depending on what the Jets do tonight.
And just for the record, if we hadn’t had buybacks this year, it’d already be settled and it’d be $603 per player.

all i can say is i should’ve taken the Vikings like i planned all week. something just wouldn’t let me do it. congrats to all that have won and may still win. i’ll be back next year with a vengeance.

Is your 603 per estimate taking onto the account the money that would not be there if there weren’t buybacks? Ps broncos suck should have taken bills. Congrats to winners.

Yeah the week I picked Denver, Oakland’s QB mystery man Russell decides to pull one out of his hat w/30 ticks left and knocked me out of this contest. Otherwise I’d be splitting that large winners pot (along w/about 11 or 12 more that picked Denver that week) since my next 2 picks did win. And to think I had thought of picking the Giants that week. Guess this is payback for me w/Denver losing today. Oh well, it was fun. I’m for the no buybacks but as a thought, how about making this contest next year a double elimination contest and/or end the contest on week 16 next year instead of week 17 (wk 17 is hard to pick w/many teams resting starters, like Indy and NE today).Plus you may want to consider making the deadline to submit picks Saturday, not Sunday, for weeks where games are on Sunday/Monday. At least we can see on here which games to throw stuff at on tv. Have a great year folks, hope to do this again next year.

Joe,
Yes. Players and money that wouldn’t be there if there weren’t buybacks.

Bill,
How will you be distributing the winnings? Will it be via paypal or snail mail? BTW, it was a pleasure playing…will def be coming back next year for more!
